Job Description

Agency Havas Edge Boston Job Description The Account Supervisor will serve as a strategic partner and problem-solver for our client needs and directly manage and support accounts of all sizes. They will guide our clients in making informed business decisions by presenting and delivering top performing media strategies and campaigns. The Account Supervisor will have a solid understanding of syndicated research (i.e. Nielsen, MRI) and analytics tools (i.e. web attribution models) to effectively develop and measure media plans for advertisers that want to leverage both brand awareness and ROI. They will also interface with and utilize other departments within the agency (Analytics, Media Buying, Accounting, Strategy & Communications Planning), and apply marketplace knowledge when developing knowledgeable campaign strategies. The ideal candidates will have a passion for performance marketing and data analytics, a strong commitment to success, and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Client & Account Management Adept in leading a client through the rationale behind proposed media plans go-to-market strategies, tactical execution, and performance management Responsible for direction and management of media landscape and the impacts to performance (seasonality, competitive, weather, supply/demand) Assist senior team members with campaign kickoff meetings, onboarding and management of budgets, and performance calls Work closely with Strategy & Communications Planning team members for strategic recommendations around campaign performance and insights Partners with other Client Services team members for input on mapping out strategy or course correcting when applicable Ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and that agency deliverables meet those expectations Responsible for communicating client goals, measurement of success, and challenges Comfortable with conflict resolution and knows when to escalate issues internally or externally before its mission critical Manage multiple projects with short timelines and experienced in managing projects from concept to completion, all while meeting client deliverables in a timely manner Prepare and present quarterly business reviews and weekly insights with limited guidance of senior team members; PowerPoint presentations will be insight driven and delivered with thought leadership vs. basic media optimization. Understands and articulates Edge’s analytics capabilities & USP to clients, and assist them in making more informed media decisions Application of executive & client feedback in areas requiring improvement is expected to drive noticeable, positive change Prior work experience directly supporting larger, retained clients Travel will be expected for face-to-face client meetings Business Development Assist in development of strategy and content for RFP responses Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients to drive growth Pitch new business alongside Growth Team as media expert; prepare and produce presentations with senior team members and other departments when necessary Character & Interpersonal Skills You work well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy, strict confidentiality, and a professional demeanor You know how to manage up: respectful of when and how to engage senior level support You are approachable and enjoy interacting with people at all levels of the organization (internal and external stakeholders) and fostering strong cross-functional teamwork You have outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal You have a high level of attention to detail and organization You have a desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment You are self-motivated and productive in both an independent and collaborative team setting You are self-aware: evaluates barriers for growth and proactively seeks out resources to overcome You value and practice a work ethic grounded in integrity Personal Development & Training: Serve as role model to team members in knowledge base, presentation skills, internal communication style and commitment to bettering the agency Help build committed relationships within Edge and consistently promote the shared goals of the department and team leader Actively learning the difference between different types of ROI based on media strategies (i.e. brand metrics when necessary). WHO YOU ARE

Position Requirements: Minimum 6 years’ experience in account management; media, performance marketing or direct response (TV or internet) experience desired Experienced in account management and have proven success in establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with clients You have a proven track record of revenue growth and cross selling. You have previous experience in participating or leading presentations, talking with clarity and confidence to clients and team members, and writing concise presentations and proposals Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business or related field of study preferred You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (i.e. deck building) and Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusive insights You have a great understanding around media buying, traffic, data operations, invoicing, sourcing, and analytics WHO WE ARE At Havas Edge we are an award-winning, international, performance marketing agency with a proven track record of helping clients succeed.
