Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be primarily handling invoice imports, refunds, and write-offs, while also serving as the assistant and key backup for recording large payments and supporting AR functions across multiple entities. Overview:

• Import invoices and upload them to the accounting system
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice data across multiple entities
• Process customer refunds
• Handle write-offs with appropriate documentation and approvals
• Serve as the assistant and primary backup for recording two large incoming wire payments
• Match wire payments to the correct invoices and resolve any discrepancies
• Reconcile and research transactions when funds are transferred to different bank accounts
• Generate and review AR-related reports for tracking and analysis
• Perform AR tasks across multiple entities while adhering to entity-specific accounting procedures

Preferred Qualifications for the role:

• Experience with posting payments and researching discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting
