A typical day in the life of an Assistant Manager includes:

• Supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure KFC standards and policies are met.
• Leading and managing a team, providing training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Managing inventory, upholding food safety protocols, and addressing customer concerns.
• Overseeing financial operations, including cash management and expense control.
• Collaborating with the General Manager to strategize growth and maintain the brand's positive image.

What you bring to the table:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food service or retail industry, preferably in a quick-service environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to oversee closing shifts at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, stack, push, or pull heavy objects, and to stand and walk throughout shifts.
• Familiarity with operating restaurant equipment in compact spaces safely.

Compensation: Compensation for Assistant Managers is commensurate with skill and experience, discussed during the hiring process. Starting compensation in various locations may range as follows:

• All other locations: $12.00 to $22.00 per hour
• State of Maryland: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
• State of New York: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
• New York City: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
• Cincinnati, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
• Toledo, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
