Senior Employment Litigation Attorney

📍 Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are partnering with a highly respected law firm seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to join their Charlotte, NC, office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-level employment litigation matters, advise clients on complex labor law issues, and play a key role in shaping workplace policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and compliance under labor and employment laws.
  • Represent clients in litigation, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage/hour disputes.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, workplace policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Conduct internal investigations into workplace complaints and coordinate legal responses.
  • Provide client training on best practices in employment law and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar .
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience practicing Labor & Employment law (Litigation focus preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $300,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
