Compensation: $82,400 - $103,000 annually

Plus a generous benefits package to include medical, dental, vision and 10% employer paid 401A through VOYA Financial.

Summary

The Ontario International Airport Authority has an exciting opportunity for an experienced business analyst to put their skills to work in a dynamic airport context. The Business Analyst II will be part of the IT Analytics team and will gather and elicit solution requirements, map business processes, and support integration and automation projects. Different from a traditional business analyst that supports software development, this role will assist with identifying appropriate technology solutions to solve business problems. Various areas may include IT, Security, Airport Operations, Finance, Procurement, Risk Management and others. Projects may include but not limited to new solution implementation, process improvements, integrations, dashboards and reporting, ERP enhancements, GIS, and AI use cases.

Job Responsibilities

Essential duties may include, but not limited to:

• Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders
• Create and analyze business process maps
• Research and identify technology solutions
• Facilitate communication, meetings, and workshops
• Participate in implementation of new and revised projects, programs, systems, and procedures

Other duties may include:

• Analytical duties as needed
• May occasionally be assigned to other duties for training purposes or to meet technological changes or emergencies
• Attend various meetings throughout airport campus in support of various IT projects and tasks
• Related work as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience that would likely provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in the position.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Finance/Economics, Aviation Management or a closely related field is required.
• Two (2) years Business Analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Lucidchart or similar application pertaining to business process modeling.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Microsoft PowerBI, or similar
• BPMN 2.0
• API's and integration concepts
• Leveraging AI in a work context

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid Driver's License equivalent to a California Class C driver's license
• Acceptable driving record at time of appointment and throughout employment
• Ability to pass all background / reference checks, knowledge examinations, as well as aptitude tests necessary to obtain an OIAA employee badge at ONT

• Finger dexterity to utilize a keyboard to input information on a computer
• Ability to lift and carry files and other media weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds up to a distance of approximately 20 feet

This is an at-will, exempt position. Only a valid and properly executed employment agreement may alter status as an at-will employee. Verbal contracts are not valid. The employment relationship may be terminated at the will of either party upon notice to the other. As an at-will employee, there would not be an established property interest in continued employment with OIAA.

• Candidates who successfully complete all phases of the selection process will be placed on an eligibility list. Current and future vacancies will be filled from this list.
