Are you good with your hands, have a knack for all things technical? Join the Johnston Equipment team as a Dock Door Technician! The ideal candidate will be skilled with mechanical, electrical, and information technology skills. In this role you will be conducting maintenance checks and diagnosing repairs for dock products to replace worn or defective parts at customer sites. You have an eye for troubleshooting operational malfunctions on equipment then communicating and executing next steps for repair solutions to the customer. As a dock door technician, you are one of the front line contacts between GNJ and the customer, so you are comfortable with client contact as well as having technical savvy. You pride yourself on having a good grasp of the geography of your area as well as strong time management ability. Johnston Equipment provides technical tools to its technicians to support them in their positions including the latest technology (iPads, iPhones, work standards, GPS) in order to process work orders and maintain your parts inventory with maximum efficiency and accuracy.
