Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

For over 50 years, our client has provided critical programs in housing, energy assistance, early childhood education, and community development. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO to lead financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader passionate about making a meaningful impact, ensuring financial sustainability, and driving positive change in the communities they serve.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight & Clean-Up Lead financial clean-up efforts, assess current systems, and implement improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Team Development & Leadership Clarify roles and responsibilities within the finance team, recruit and onboard key personnel, and ensure the team can scale effectively.
• Accounting Policies & Internal Controls Develop and document financial policies and procedures, particularly around cost allocations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Board & Stakeholder Reporting Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports to the Board, improving financial transparency and decision-making.
• Operational & Compliance Projects Oversee initiatives such as transitioning financial records into a CRM and ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations.
• Training & Capacity Building Provide guidance on uniform grant guidance, payroll processes, and payroll allocations to strengthen financial knowledge across the organization.
