Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Level 1 RDS Agent for a long-term W2 contract position (40 hours per week) in Plymouth, Michigan . This role involves working through a chat feature to assist with recalibrating light and camera sensors on windshields. The position requires a focus on quality customer service rather than speed and involves manually building all tickets. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Plymouth for at least 3-5 months before transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days remote and 2 days in office).

Rate Range: $22.00/hour to $23.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Level 1 RDS Agent job responsibilities include:

• Deliver solid customer service through chat, focusing on quality interactions
• Assist with recalibrating light and camera sensors using diagnostic tools
• Manually build tickets for each customer interaction to ensure accuracy
• Work onsite initially, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after training
• Cover shifts Monday through Saturday, including occasional Saturday work

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with diagnostic scan tools, is essential
• Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics, including DTCs, is required
• Strong computer skills to efficiently manage chat-based customer interactions
• Solid customer service skills to provide quality support to clients
• Positive attitude and tech-savvy approach to adapt to evolving technologies
