Description

We are seeking a Product Management Specialist-Contractor to support the transformation of historical engineering documentation into modern, product-centric requirements and importing of those requirements into a comprehensive requirements management system.

• Review legacy requirements documentation (primarily in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Jira, Confluence, or Requirements Yogi)
• Translate long-form technical prose into concise, structured User Needs and Design Input Requirements
• Reformat and structure content in Excel templates for import into our requirements management system (Aligned Elements)
• Use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or other designated tool) to assist with content summarization and transformation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and preserve intent

Role expectations

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and structured writing skills
• Familiarity with product development documentation or requirements workflows
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous or inconsistent source materials
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of generative AI tools for business or technical content

Pay Transparency

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidates pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
