About Us:
Rowe Plastic Surgery is a leading plastic surgery practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist/Billing Coordinator to join our team at our Red Bank, NJ location. This is a full-time, in-office role—remote work is not available for this position.

Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist/Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient and insurance billing, posting payments, and handling follow-up processes to ensure timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing, EOBs, insurance claims, and appeals processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and scan Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)

• Follow up on outstanding billed accounts

• Submit insurance claims and bills

• Handle negotiations and appeals with insurance companies

• Request and manage medical records as needed

• Participate in weekly and monthly billing meetings

• Scan and post correspondence related to billing and claims

• Send out HCFA forms and Payment to Member Statements as needed

• Assist with arbitration cases when necessary

• Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate team member

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in medical billing/accounts receivable, preferably in a surgical or specialty practice

• Knowledge of EOBs, insurance billing, and appeal processes

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in using billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
  
   

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• On-site position in Red Bank, NJ (no remote work)
  
   

Compensation:

• $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
